This is a private portfolio page created just for you. You can scroll down to see examples of my work with descriptions. I see myself as a storyteller. My medium of choice is non-fiction film, documentary with a twist. The story, the content, is paramount, but the form, the design of the film, is also extremely important to me. I usually work in the short film format, with films ranging from one minute to fifteen. I did, however, just release my first feature film, Eponymous, which played at the New Orleans Film Festival and most recently at the Atlanta Film Festival. This film is, I think, a successful example of form meeting content. The folks at Swampflix.com had this to say in that regard:
This is like an experimental film that actually makes use of visual language in addition to being a documentary of historical past. It's really spooky and really upsetting and, yeah, I thought it was great.
Probably the most interesting looking movie I saw at the festival.
I was really impressed with this movie as a visual piece, which is not always the case when it comes to documentaries.
Georgia Feature Special Mention
Jury Statement
We celebrate this film for its breakthrough concept and fierce originality, its affecting and fascinating examination of memory, and the unexpected lineage it traces between cinema and warfare, the camera and the gun.
Distilling many decades of life into a 65 minute film completely on my own as I did with Eponymous was challenging and rewarding, but the short format is where I most love to work. I have made well over a dozen festival-worthy films since 2017, always as a one person band, handling all aspects of the project from start to finish. Suffice it to say, I know the Adobe Creative Suite well. Whatever I didn’t know how to do along the way, I figured out. Here are two of these short films. There is more information about each of them at the FILMS link above.
A woman is stopped by police, arrested, and taken to jail for turning left - on the eve of Trump’s visit to town.
As Covid dims and the war in Ukraine does not, there remains just one absolute.

While the short films are fairly serious, what follows is something completely different, a short collage of animation, motion graphics, and digital illustration.
